AMD plans to release two Ryzen 5 3500X and Ryzen 5 3500 models for the sub-$150 US market. Due to each processor’s 6 cores and 6 threads, there is no multi-threading support, but given their price point and the market they are targeting, there should be a cut-down core configuration. The Ryzen 3000 parts would be the first to lack multithreading. AMD Ryzen 5 3500X has a base clock of 3.6 GHz and a boost clock of 4.1 GHz. There are 16 MB of cache and a 65W TDP with a price of around $150 US. AMD’s decision to price this particular chip at $149.99 US is highly praised.
